ThunderSongs offers Constant Bit Rate .mp3 Files in Two Resolutions and FLAC Files
We offer your choice of either 128K or 192K .mp3 files of the songs that you find available here. This means that you can choose which file resolution you prefer at the time of purchase. We trust that this choice will enable you to listen with ease on your chosen .mp3 player. Now whether you use computer based listening or your favorite .mp3 player, your ThunderSongs purchase will play to your satisfaction for years to come. The pricing is the same for either version .mp3 file.
We have implemented the fabulous open source lossless file compression algorithm known as FLAC to select available files. FLAC is an acronym for Free Lossless Audio Codec and it is the audiophile's choice in file compression. One can easily create a full fidelity audio CD from downloaded FLAC files. The official FLAC site states that "The FLAC and Ogg FLAC formats themselves, and their specifications, are fully open to the public to be used for any purpose.…" (view the details on FLAC.) We are pleased that the open source community has once again made something wonderful and made it free.
We can also make custom files to fit your needs such as Ogg Vorbis and Monkey's Audio files. Please e-mail ThunderSongs with all of your special requests. We will do our best to serve your particular audio pleasure.
Buying from ThunderSongs
Buying and downloading music from ThunderSongs is a safe and secure experience. Simply select your music using the add to cart buttons by each song or ThunderBundle. You will be presented with a pop-up PayPal Shopping cart. Continure your purchases and proceed to the secure checkout, where you will enter your credit card or other information. At the end of the transaction you will be presented with a button that will return you to ThunderSongs. You will then be served a page with links to your purchases for immediate download. (One exception is Echecks which require 3 to 4 days to clear. When they have cleared you will receive an e-mail with links to the songs.) After you finish the transaction you will receive two e-mails. One will be a receipt from PayPal for your ThunderSongs purchase. The second will be an e-mail from ThunderSongs with a secure download link(s) which will be active for 24 hours. Simply click the link(s) to download your new music. The only thing left to do after that is to enjoy your purchase!

We accept all major credit cards and e-checks through PayPal. We also accept bank drafts from select European countries You can also use funds from *your* PayPal account to purchase our goodies. Only a select few countries have the ability to use their bank accounts to add or withdraw funds with PayPal. GERMANY, the NETHERLANDS, NORWAY, SWEDEN, SWITZERLAND, UK, CANADA and AUSTRALIA are among the only countries able to add funds from a bank account to make their payments.

Please make all checks payable to ThunderSongs. After your check clears we will e-mail you links to download your purchases. If you purchased a CD or other tangible goods, we will ship them to you when the check clears. Please allow seven to ten days for check clearing.
ThunderSongs Pricing
As you probably know, progressive rock compositions can be long and involved. In this we think you will find our pricing fair and affordable. The price will rise modestly from our base price of .99 per song for tunes that go over 10 minutes in length. We will also offer specially priced ThunderBundles for purchasing *all* of the songs from one release. We will follow below schedule for pricing our music:

ThunderSongs Administrative Costs
Administrative costs are a reality that a *very* small business must confront head on. Because we are dedicated to passing on 80% of sales on to the actual artists involved, we need to recoup these costs. Accordingly, we have instituted a sliding scale of these expenses to be added to each order. The amounts are modest but the impact is huge, allowing us to continue to expand this unique service to all of you. You will find this charge on each order listed as “Shipping and Handling.” Below you will find the amounts that are applied to your order. This amount is only added to the total of each entire order, not to each individual item. All amounts are shown in US dollars.
