ThunderSongs is excited to welcome recording artist Doug Powell to our growing ranks. Doug's music is a powerful proggish pop that is polished to perfection. He is also a powerful proponent of the faith. Doug has worked closely with Todd Rundgren in the past and maintains a friendship with him today. Doug was tapped as a possible new vocalist for the New Cars when they were re-forming but was edged out by his friend Rundgren. Playing with the band Swag, Doug has performed on Late Night With Conan O'Brien. Doug is beginning work now on a new concept album which is sure to excite C-Prog fans. Enjoy the proggish pop of Doug Powell!

Mike Florio was released a new single exclusively on ThunderSongs! “The Wise Man” will appear on Mike's coming second release and also on the CPR Volume 3 compilation release due out in a month or two. Hear Mike's great new tune today!

ThunderSongs is pleased to add two great new artists to our roster. We are happy to introduce Ad Astra and Greg Wollan to our growing family. Both artists bring their distinctive styles to the table. In addition, we are adding the brand new Orphan Project release, “Orphan Project II.” This four song EP continues the powerful tradition of Orphan Project that began with “Orphan Found.”

Ad Astra hails from the Florida panhandle and features the talents of Doug Bowers who is joined by Chris Flynn and Mitch Rall to complete the core band. Sitting in with them is none other that Dave Hope (Kansas, AD) on bass. Enjoy their unique style.

Greg Wollan is an accomplished musician with six releases under his belt. He played as a side man with Steve Taylor on the “Squint” tour and also played with Doug Powell (Todd Rundgren.) His music is mature and deep. The two releases now available at ThunderSongs show both introspective and exuberant sides to his music. Once you hear Greg, you will never forget him.

“Orphan Project II” shows a grittier side to the veteran rockers Orphan Project. The three new originals are driving and catchy while continuing to show their prog roots. They will also surprise you with their totally unique cover of Pink Floyd’s “Another Brick In The Wall Part Two.” Enjoy a new side of OP.
